Volunteers
Kelmscott Manor depends on a volunteer team (currently over 100 people). The majority of the work is involved in stewarding the house on general public open days and group visits. Other important tasks include: welcoming visitors on site and inviting Gift Aid donations; ticket sales; supporting school study days and workshops; stewarding concerts and other special events; supporting the restaurant and shop; and helping clean and prepare the collection for winter storage at the end of the season.
We welcome enquiries at any time of the year. There is an application process and we can send you a pack with further information and an application form (telephone 01367 253348 or email admin@kelmscottmanor.org.uk). New volunteers will be engaged as vacancies become available and are introduced to the work through an induction programme.
